As the European Vocational Skills Week National Contact Point for Italy appointed by the European Commission, we are pleased to share some useful information and tips on how you can be part of the Week.
The EVSW is an annual event during which local, regional or national organisations showcase the very best of Vocational Education and Training (VET). After five editions, the event has become an exchange platform for VET stakeholders all around Europe and beyond.
HOW CAN YOU BE PART OF THE WEEK?
Register your event
Have you organised or are you organising an event or activity that promotes VET? We are keen to hear about it. Register your events/activities on the Week website to have them promoted on the site and potentially featured on social media, newsletters and videos prepared for the Week. Follow our step-by-step guide to register your event/activity and become an official partner of the European Vocational Skills Week 2020. On registering, you will receive promotional material and tools to help spread the word about the event/activity.
This year we’re encouraging you to also organise digital events/activities to promote VET – it could be a webinar, digital press campaign, online careers fair, Facebook Live, Instagram Live or another online gathering.
Here you will find the Communications Toolkit. This is a practical resource for event and activity organisers to help them promote the European Vocational Skills Week among other stakeholders and the wider public.
Share your story
Are you in contact with VET students? Encourage them to send us their success VET stories and inspire other future students all over Europe. There’s a special section for this on the European Vocational Skills Week website. Read the stories of organisations and individuals and be inspired by how VET is influencing their lives and their communities.
Support the Excellence Awards
The VET Excellence Awards are a great opportunity to showcase organisations or share passion and commitment to VET. The Awards recognise committed people, organisations and outstanding projects and reward them for their endeavours. Public voting will start on 10 October on the European Vocational Skills Week website. Be sure to support your favourite nominees!
