Vocational Education and Training (VET) frameworks are so numerous and different in the EU Member States and regions that the definition of common development agendas and objectives is really a challenge for decision-makers. The intermediation and mediation between the aims, needs, expectations of VET centres, VET teachers and trainers, local civil society organisations and the European VET development policies require a constant dialogue and exchange of opinions that only proficient networking activities can guarantee.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the project VENHANS – VET European networking Enhancement aims to address these ambitious challenges, by bringing together a competent partnership composed by:
the EU umbrella associations members of the VET4EU2 platform
EVTA (European Vocational Training Association)
EfVET (European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training)
EVBB (European Association od Institutes for Vocational Training)
Eucen (European University Continuing Education Network)
EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education)
as well as 4 European Vocational Education and Training providers
AFPA (Agence nationale pour la formation professionnelle des adultes)
VET providers, teachers and trainers, stakeholders will benefit from the three actions plans that the project will activate (Networking, Capacity building, Dissemination) with the aim of:
– increasing the representativeness of EU VET umbrella associations at national/regional level, expanding memberships and stimulating VET networking
– enhancing the cooperation between the umbrella networks, within the VET4EU2 common platform
– promoting VET quality and propagating the concept of excellence in VET
Stay tuned to keep up with the project’s news!
